A dark chapter of Swiss history... until 40 years ago, thousands of children were forced to work on strangers' farms and workshops. They have been waiting for compensation ever since.More than 500,000 children from poor families were forced to work in Switzerland. The planned exploitation of minors did not cease until the 1970s. The authorities pressured their parents to permit their children to be put to work. And so even four-year-olds were sent to work as cheap laborers on farmers owned by people they didn't know. Many of them grew up without love and without contact with their parents. They are still fighting for their rights.
